After careful restoration, our panoramic pool is open for the season — and it may be the most quietly spectacular spot at Borgo Braila.
Clad in Tivoli travertine
Measuring 18 by 7 metres, the pool is finished in warm Tivoli travertine, the same honeyed stone that has defined Italian architecture for two thousand years. It sits into the hillside as if it had always been there.
Reached through the olive grove
You arrive along a path that winds between olive trees, broom and viburnum — a short walk that leaves the world behind. There are no loudspeakers, no crowds; only the hills, the water, and the light.
Sunsets included
As the afternoon softens, the valley turns gold and the pool mirrors the sky. It is, without exaggeration, one of the finest places we know to watch an Umbrian sunset. Bring a glass of something cold and stay a while.
